आगरा का लाल किला हिन्दू भवन है-Agara Ka Lal Kila Hindu Bhavan Hai-PN Oak
‘ बादलगढ़ ‘ शब्दावली , जो आज तक आगरा – स्थित लालकिले के शाही भागों के नाम के रूप में साथ – साथ चली आ रही है , मध्यकालीन युग में पर्याप्त लोकप्रिय और प्रचलित रही है । यह आगरा के किले के लिए ही विशेष बात नहीं है अपितु अनेक हिन्दू किलों के शाही भागों अथवा उसके समीपस्थ भागों के नाम – योतन के लिए भी इसी शब्द का प्रयोग होता रहा है । अतः यह अनुमान लगाना गलत है जैसा कुछ इतिहासकारों ने किया है कि बादल गढ़ का निर्माण बादलसिंह नाम से पुकारे जाने वाले किसी सरदार ने ही किया होगा । इतिहासकारों को यह खोज निकालने का यत्न करना चाहिए कि मध्य कालीन युग में हिन्दू किले के भीतर के भाग अथवा उसके समीपस्य भागों के नाम किस प्रकार और कब ‘ वादलगढ़ ‘ पड़ गए । किन्तु बादलगढ़ शब्दावली का सम्पूक्तार्थ इतना सामान्य था , यह इसी बात से प्रत्यक्ष है कि यह अनेक हिन्दू किलों के वर्णनों में बारम्बार आया है । उदाहरणार्थ ( बादशाह अकवर का समकालीन ) वदायूंनी इतिहासकार बादलगढ़ के सम्बन्ध में उल्लेख करता है कि वह ग्वालियर में किले की तिलहटी में एक अत्युच्च रचना है । राजस्थान के इतिहास में हमें किलों के भीतर बने हुए अनेक स्थान ऐसे मिलते हैं जिनको बादलगढ़ कहते हैं । उसी परम्परा में आगरे का लालकिला भी या उसके ( भीतर के शाही राजमहल ) वादलगढ़ के नाम से पुकारे जाने लगे । हमें ऐसा प्रतीत होता है कि बादलगढ़ शब्दावली प्राकृत – मूल की है ।
